Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has said Donald Trump’s account has been reinstated after running an opinion poll. His account was suspended in 2021 due to the risk of incitement of violence. Hundreds of rioters entered theCapitol Building as the US Congress attempted to certify Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election. Several months later, he launched his own social media platform, Truth Social. Part of Mr. Trump’s dilemma is that Truth Social has relatively few users compared to Twitter. Just 92,000 people downloaded Trump’s Truth Social compared to 400M users on Twitter.
